Tumble Dryer Controller
The Tumble Dryer Controller from Streat Drycom enables the efficient use of energy during milling and drying of a wide range of products from high quality knitted garments to industrial laundries.
Configuration
The Streat Tumble Dryer Controller is designed to be easily retrofitted to existing Tumble Dryers. It works in conjunction with existing timer based dryer controllers and enables the humidity of the exhaust air to be monitored. It will switch off the dryer (or cause it to enter the cool-down phase) if the humidity falls below a settable threshold before the timing period has completed. This enables power to be saved, as the dryer will only run as long as needed to ensure the contents are properly dried. The colour Touch-Screen displays the measured value of exhaust air humidity, and compares this to a threshold which can be set by the operator at any time. Both the threshold and the measured humidity are displayed continuously. In addition the temperature of the exhaust air is displayed continuously. Recipe functions are available so the required processing parameters can be stored and selected for each product.
